Memorial services for James Bradley, age 81, of Pell City, AL, were held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, 10:30 AM, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Wylam, with burial in Adger Cemetery. Father Huguley officiated the service. The family received friends one half hour prior to the service. Mr. Bradley passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Ashville Health Center. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Gordon Bradley, Sr., and Margaret; his children, Pat Bradley, David Bradley and Joyce Bradley. He is survived by his wife, Mary Bradley of Pell City; sons, Mike Bradley and Shawn Bradley of Birmingham, AL, Bobby Dale Huff and Christopher Bradley of Pell City; daughters, Jeanie Steel of Smith Lake, Lisa Darty, Mellisa Bradley, and Stacy Bradley of Wylam; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Tom Bradley and John Bradley; sisters, Margaret Jean Cook and Mary Ann Becattini; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Bradley lived in Wylam for 60 years and then moved to Pell City, where he lived for the past 21 years. He retired from U. S. Steel after 34 years of service and he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
