MOUNDVILLE - Lura Imogene Haywood, age 86, of Moundville, AL, passed away February 5, 2018 at St. Vincent's-St. Clair. Her funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Moundville Baptist Church. Burial folowed in the Oakhill Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, O.G. Haywood, Jr.; grandsons, Peyton Haywood and Gabriel Haywood.

Survivors include her sons, James L. Haywood (Elaine) and Michael A. Haywood (Martha); daughter, Betty Jo Roberts (Robbie); grandchildren, Charlie Haywood, Tracy Haywood, Emily Roberts and Trey Roberts; great-grandchildren, Tori Haywood, Niki Haywood and Mason Haywood; great-great-granddaughter, Kaitlynn Roberts; great-great-grandson, Benjamin Pike; brothers, Awtry Peace (Gwin) and Calvin Lindley (Jan); sister, Sarah Katherine Martin (David).

Pallbearers were Mason Haywood, Charlie Haywood, Alston Pike, Trey Roberts, Tracy Haywood and Jameson Kelly.

Honorary pallbearers are The Thelma Elliott Sunday school class; Mr. and Mrs. Victor Poole; employees of Moundville Bank, employees of County Line Grocery, Dr. Larry Skelton and staff, friends and neighbors in Moundville and Pell City, Dr. Stephen Fortsen and Medical Surgical Unit at St. Vincent's-St. Clair Hospital.
Special friends: Walt Bailey, Armon Rodgers, Sedell Dockery, and friends at Eden Westside Baptist Church.
