Everett Leslie Wright, Jr. Obituary

Everett Leslie Wright, Jr., 76, passed away on October 1, 2024, in Tuscaloosa, AL. Born on October 30, 1947, Leslie, as he was affectionately known, graduated from Chattanooga Central High School and later from the University of Tennessee. Post-college, he was drafted into the United States Army, serving for two years with an initial deployment plan to Vietnam that later changed to Panama.

Leslie began his professional journey at Western Auto, transitioning to Goodyear and ultimately excelled as a salesman at Yokohama Tire, where he was beloved by customers and colleagues alike and received numerous awards for his performance.

A loving father and friend, Leslie's greatest joy was spending time on the water. He cherished taking family and friends out on his boat, sharing with them the tranquility and adventure that the lakes offered.

Leslie was a devoted viewer of Calvary Chapel services from Chadds Ford, PA, finding solace and inspiration in their online broadcasts.

Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, Everett Leslie Wright, Sr. and Mary Jo Wright.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Jimmie Hale Mission, honoring Leslie's spirit of community and support.
