Pell City - Margaret Thomas Vaughan, 94, of Pell City, Alabama, went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Margaret was born on October 5, 1930 in Haleyville, Alabama to Wille and Hazel Thomas. She is survived by her children, Annette Snow (Tommy), Deborah Turner (Mike), Laura Adams (Ricky), Tommy Vaughan (Barbara), and Lisa Dobbs (Hugh); 12 grandchildren: Ryan Snow, Marty Snow, Kayla Snow Byrd, Michael Snow, Brooke Turner Walls, John Michael Turner, Jeremy Adams, Daniel Adams, Eli Vaughan, Emily Vaughan Doty, Josh Dobbs and Quinton Dobbs; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Donald Thomas, sister Ann Thomas Harmon, nieces Carolyn Armstrong and Melinda Thomas Phillips, nephews Vaughn Thomas, Bill Thomas, Ben Thomas, Alan Thomas, and Bart Thomas. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Hazel Thomas, her grandson Joseph Dobbs, her daughter-in-law Sallie Bush Vaughan, her brother Eddie Thomas, and her nephew Matthew Harmon. A Celebration of Life will be held at Victory Church-Pell City, of which she was one of the founding members, on Friday, March 14, at 1 p.m. A graveside service will follow for family and close friends.
