Patricia Ann Mewbourne, 75, of Pell City, Ala. passed away Monday, July 15 at her home following a lengthy illness and is now resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born in Ragland, Ala. on Aug. 7, 1943 to parents Frank and Audrey Phillips. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was her life. She was loved by her family and all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Mewbourne; parents, Frank and Audrey Phillips; six brothers, Milford Phillips, Cecil Phillips, Clifford Phillips, James Phillips, Harvey Ellis, and Junior Ellis.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Statum (Frank) and Debbie Walters Graham (Tim); one son, Theo Bubba Graham (Melinda); three grandchildren, Brandy Wells (Toby), Brandon Statum (Lindsay) and Holly Otwell (Wes); four great-grandchildren, Hunter Otwell, Bryant Statum, Waverly Otwell and Sophie Wells; three brothers, Dalton Cobb George (Margret), Conley Ray Phillips (Gay) and Robert Haskel Phillips (Sarah).
Services will be Friday, July 19 at 2 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville, Ala. Visitation will be one hour prior to the start of service.
