Ralph Rickles Obituary

On Thursday, Sept. 17, 2024, Ralph Rickles, age 78, formerly from Pell City, Ala., departed to his eternal Heavenly home. He passed away in a facility in Redding, Calif., from a stroke on August 29.

Ralph was a Pell City high school graduate. He married his high school sweetheart, Gilda Ingram and together they had four sons. He pastored some churches while living in Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gilda of Sacramento, Calif.; parents, Reverend E. C. and Ann Rickles of Cropwell; brothers, Reverend Ken (Gayle) of Alexander City and Danny and his wife Diane Epperson Rickles of Cropwell, Ala.

He is survived by his four sons, Erik (Mary), Gary (Christene), Paul (Laura) and Jeremy (Sarah) and several grand and great-grandchildren all living in California. His two sisters, Teresa (Jeffrey) Gibson of Lineville, Ala., Regina (Chris) Howard of Pell City and several nieces and nephews living in Alabama.

A graveside service was held Tuesday, Oct. 1, in Fair Oaks, Calif. with close family and friends.
